Benta Pharma Industries has a Medical Device Department that oversees all Manufacturing, Packaging, Sterilization and Storage of Disposable Medical Devices. The facility site is designed, equipped and properly maintained to reach the highest International Standards.
The succession of production steps is described in the Materials Flow map; a summary of this flow is as follows: · “Research & Development Unit” looks continuously for new products that fulfill the market needs; in addition to new suppliers for the purchase of Raw Materials. · Received Materials (Plastic, Packaging Materials, etc…) are first subject to Quality Control Inspection- Incoming Materials are purchased from previously Approved Suppliers. · Once released, Plastic Raw Materials are processed using the Molding or Extrusion Machines.   · The outcomes of this operation (Semi-Finished Items) are then assembled in a dedicated Area.  · Assembled Products are afterwards properly packed, labeled and cartoned. · The final step is the sterilization using the Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilizer Machine. o EO is a powerful gas able to kill all viable microorganisms; o The Pressure, the Temperature, the Humidity, the Concentration of Gas and the Time of Exposure Product-Gas are the main parameters to be controlled; o Microbiological tests (Sterility tests, EO residuals tests etc….) are conducted before releasing the products. · Sterile Products are finally released to the market. Ø Areas are controlled to assure a low level of viable microorganisms before sterilization. Ø International Standards concerning personnel hygiene are followed to ensure the manufacturing of products according to CE Marking Standards.
